Panguitch Quilt Walk 2010

I just spent a great 3 days at the Panguitch Quilt Walk! I got to teach my first "official" class. We had so much fun. Thanks ladies!!!
I also took 2 great classes from Saundra Cindrich and Kristine Palmer. I can't wait to get them finished.
The classes were great, the food was wonderful, the trunk shows were amazing and the prizes were terrific! The little "soap opera" was fun too!?!?!?
Of course the quilters were the best. Thanks to Claudia and her crew for a great time!!!!!
Maybe when I am a veteran teacher they will get my name right:-)

My class!
What a great group of ladies to work with. They were very kind and patient with a rookie teacher.

HMQS 2010

HMQS was lots of fun this year. I took a lot of great classes and helped in the Handiquilter classroom for three classes. I volunteered for the quilt show judging, vendor support and ticket taker at the door. I also spent a stint in the Long Arm quilt guild booth.
I had three quilts in the show: one I quilted for the Sew Batik challenge and the other two were customer quilts. Janet's got an honorable mention and Barbara's got a Teacher's choice award from Nancy Goldsworthy.

Heads and Tails Quilts

This is the class I will be teaching in Panguitch the 2nd week of July. Here are just some of the ways to arrange Heads and Tails Blocks. The quilts are all different sizes depending on how many blocks you make and how you choose to arrange them! The first two photos show what a fun surprise Dena had when she misread the directions and made her accent fabric the wide strip. She has a totally different quilt. No two quilts will ever be the same!!!
I really had fun when I went wild and bright!
